Our History
North Fork Doodles began as a passion,
was born in a pandemic,
and turned into a family business.
2004-2020
Our family of three has had 5 dogs over the last 16 years. The first four, Marley, Buddy, Daisy, and, our pandemic puppy, Violet were all adopted from local shelters. We loved dogs and plan to always have dogs in our home.
March 2020
While searching for a new puppy and we came up with the idea to breed designer doodles. For two years, we researched champion Bernese Mountain Dog breeders across the country. Eventually, we chose Champion Bernese in Kentucky, a champion breeder with a proven track record of producing top-quality dogs. Their dogs are healthy, have excellent temperaments, and conform to breed standards. They are also stunning beautiful.

Rosie was born in Kentucky.
June 2022
We drove to south to Nashville from our home in Eastern Long Island, NY, stayed a night, then drove to Kentucky the next morning. We picked up Rosie and drove back to New York. A 28 hour trip in total! We learned quickly that Rosie is a great car dog. Calm and happy.

Rosie turned 2 years old and 80 lbs!

We drove up to Lewiston, NY to pickup the semen collect from our chosen stud, Hilltop Phoenix.

Dr. Carol Margolis at Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care, a theriogenology specialist, performed the artificial insemination.
